Paranormal Muskegon recently met up with Earthwise Studio and Shop’s owner, Angel Coon at her new digs. Angel is the powerhouse behind Earthwise which recently opened up at this up and coming location. Angel is energetic, multitalented and has a great many interests. Besides being a business owner, she is an incredible professional photographer, event planner, artist, and intuitive card reader. I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Angel for some time now and always inspired by her enthusiasm, energy, and creativity. Having had the opportunity to see her in action as an intuitive card reader, event, planner and artist, couldn’t wait to chat with her about the inspiration behind Earthwise.
Angel reveals she is an Aquarius and feels that her life and how it has unfolded over the years fully expresses the innovative, creative, and free-spirited nature of Aquarius. Born in 1987, she said her upbringing was very diverse and that she “soaked up the information throughout her experiences.” She says she uses much of the knowledge gleaned from those years in her day-to-day living and practice. Artistic, creative and inventive, Angel says she marches to the beat of her own drum; is willing to break with tradition, challenge the norm and follow her heart. She related that she had a great many interests in school; cheerleading, softball, drama club, debate, painting, and student counsel but couldn’t seem to settle on just one. Angel said she couldn’t seem to settle on one interest, but that it enabled her to gain knowledge about a great many things.
This passion for gaining knowledge, variety and culture has continued to move her towards her life goals and mission. She says this drive and passion is still present; and she continues to live life the same way, embracing change, variety and culture. These experiences, for example having lived in multiple states and traveled has brought her insight and awareness as well as unique and diverse opportunities. She has worked at places like Portrait Picture Me Studios where she did photography as well as at Harley Davidson, where she sold motorcycles. She also completed a four-year bid with the Army National Guard. After some soul-searching she pursued her dream of having her own business, starting in 2012 and has never looked back since. In 2020, she discovered her psychic medium abilities and uses her spiritual gifts and Tarot readings to help bring insight, healing, clarity into people’s lives.
In addition to intuitive tarot and life readings and mediumistic services; Earthwise operates as both a boutique as well as creative space; offering services party planning, photography, graphic design and professional make-up. They are also supportive of entrepreneurs and small businesses. The Earthwise boutique shop carries a variety of locally-made products and merchandise for purchase featuring has a dazzling array from glitzy hats, jewelry, clothing to wellness products and art. Angel is very passionate and dedicated to her mission that Earthwise will be a learning place where people can create, connect in the spirit of community. Since early on, she has had a mission to benefit humanity. This has been her mission for Earthwise Studio and Shop; to use it as well as her artistic ability to “create with, inspire, and heal…while advocating for a better and brighter future for humanity as a collective.” This is a worthy mission to be sure. It is the true calling an Aquarian in the dawning of the Aquarian Age.
