We're back at it on a Monday with this weeks episode of Fit and Healthy With Becky, brought to you by Trinity Health, and just in time for the holidays, bells are ringing. If you consider ringing making your workout a little more resistance filled and beneficial!
Becky has chosen a 17 pound kettle bell this week to put a little resistance into the work out. Here's a fun fact. The kettlebell originated in Russia in the 18th Century as great ways to weigh and measure things. The Russian military bunch soon found them to be quite beneficial to their exercise regimen and today, the kettlebell is known world wide for it's ability to be used in a multitude of ways either one, or two handed.
If 17 pounds is a bit much for ya, that's ok. The important part is that you do the repetitions and follow the form. Arms, legs and core are all what's being put to the test this week and with the holidays coming up and all of the indulgences offered, it's a great time to add more to your working out and spend that extra time "in the dark" like we do in the winter around here working on yourself.
