After a pretty strenuous four weeks, Becky is giving the advanced members of the Fit and Healthy Audience a bit of a breather, and the newer members of the group a chance to get moving with a LOT less of an impact.  This is also an awesome way to help people who might have limited ability or have reached a certain age who have a wiling mind, but a little more hesitation in the body.  Welcome to episode 311 of Fit and Healthy With Becky brought to you by Trinity Health.

A bench or a sturdy chair is something you will need this week.  As we mentioned in our opening, Becky is scaling back a bit after 4 weeks of really pushing.  Arms and legs are the focus this week and some in the midsection as well as you'll be doing some assisted squats with the bench there to catch you.  If you'd like, you can add a small weight to the arm motions but, it's not necessary.  What is important is that you're doing it!!  And you are!  We condense the workout down to what's known as a Tabata style workout.  Segments of work followed by segments of transition and rest and the idea is to go through the workout 3-4 times to get the maximum effect ever week.  You are welcome to do this workout more than once a day as well!

Becky wants you to know that there's room for you at her private studio!  She's got some time on her hands to welcome new individuals or small groups to work out!!  It's a great location in Norton Shores and you'll feel right at home while Becky customizes you a work out and if you wish, a meal plan to go along with it to optimize your nutritional balance.  Call Becky at 231-557-9548 to ask about meeting up and learning more!

Also, did you know??  We have Yoga back!  Please visit our new site, Muskegon, Better and see Mindful Movements Yoga with Swenja Tanner!  It's another awesome way to balance out life and add in a little self care while you're at it.
