If you've been following the work we've been showing you with our sponsor Community Choice Credit Union as they have completed their new Member Center on Harvey Street, it's been quite an adventure. From the ground breaking last fall to their backpack give away just before school started, their focus has been continuing to "Give Big" while bringing a new, multi use building to the commerce corridor at the southern end of the county. There are only a couple more steps to go to get the place christened into service, and the ribbon cutting is happening on September 21st at 8a.
Brittany Hichue has been with Community Choice Credit Union since WAY back. In fact, Brittany was part of the Credit Union before it became Community Choice and shares some thoughts not only about the incredibly beautiful new building, but how Community Choice has brought a breath of fresh air into the community with their philanthropic way of making the most of their outreach. Supporting the needs of those in the community comes first followed by some support for the things that make our quality of life so much better here. You'll see the events like back pack giveaway's to help kids going back to school, but you will also see some grand sponsorships on big events like Rebel Road to not only support a cause, but make life more exciting for everyone. It's this level of engagement that's not often seen by a company fairly new to a market.
We're proud to work with Community Choice Credit Union and their work within the community is genuine. Over the tail end of 2023 you are going to see quite a few different events coming along that we're partnering with Community Choice on. From food trucks to food giveaways, some holiday cheer and a big grand opening celebration coming up soon at the Harvey Street location, there's literally something amazing coming along every month until the end of 2023.
